B-Tech solutions abound at busy RDSE show

Enjoying a dose of retail therapy in London, B-Tech’s latest mounting solutions were recently on display at the Retail Digital Signage Expo. Taking place at Kensington Olympia on March 9th and 10th, the inaugural RDSE ran alongside the more established Retail Business Technology Expo and Retail Design Expo, combining to create one of the largest and fastest growing retail events in Europe. B-Tech were well represented throughout the show, on their own stand as well as on numerous others.

With 1000s of attendees from the world of retail, including some of the biggest names in the business, it was an opportunity for B-Tech to showcase its innovative solutions directly to this booming vertical market for the first time.

Ideal for retail, and catching the eye on B-Tech’s B12 stand, was a newly launched close-to-the-window display solution. Our UK engineers have designed a newly engineered bolt down base with a very small footprint; this allows mounts to be securely placed in locations with a limited amount of floor space, such as right up against a store window. Speak to your B-Tech representative about the BT8380-FFB for more details.

Such is the growth in retail digital signage that integrators are welcoming the 4 decades of tried and tested engineering knowledge that B-Tech put into their products, resulting in the fast, reliable fitting of any display; from single screens to the largest of video walls and menu boards.

Similarly to the recent ISE show, B-Tech’s pop-in, pop-out mounts and System X range were again popular with stand visitors and, with digital signage now a common sight in the high street and shopping mall, a large number of quality leads was made.

Matt Nixon, area sales manager for B-Tech, said: “As the Retail Digital Signage Expo was a new element of the Olympia event, the cost and time invested into exhibiting was a calculated risk, but we are confident that it has already paid off. Our booth design was market specific, showing many different display solutions and how they can be used in a retail environment. Comments from visitors to the stand have really enforced how integral digital signage has become to this market and it is clear that this aspect of the show has been well received, and this has been a great opportunity for B-Tech to demonstrate our strengths in this field.

He added: “On behalf of everyone at B-Tech, I’d like to thank all our customers and business partners that visited us at Olympia. As well as the major industry players, there were many integrators and companies that specialise in the retail sector and we leave the show with a very healthy number of new contacts and possibilities. We also had some great stands around us that made sure we were all kept very busy!”

In addition to a very busy stand, B-Tech solutions were also being utilised by numerous exhibitors all around the show floor.

Examples:

• Fairfield Displays - using a System 2 solutions for HighBright displays
• Digital Media Systems – combining System X and B-Tech Professional solutions for a bespoke display
• Pixel Inspiration – using a BT8330 mount for a menu board application
• Inurface Media – a 3x3 video wall, mounting NEC displays on a BT8350 solution
• Dynascan – using multiple floor stand’s from B-Tech’s professional range
