B-Tech are proud to be highly commended by AV Magazine at the AV Awards 2016. What an amazing night!
Attending the AV Awards this year at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, B-Tech were delighted to be selected as finalists for the AV Accessory of the year award with our System X range.
We arrived at the glitzy Mayfair venue to be greeted by a Champagne reception as the industry’s finest rubbed shoulders in the AV world’s biggest social gathering of the year. AV Magazine editor Clive Couldwell kicked off official proceedings, giving all finalists and guests a very warm welcome on a spectacular stage that was fitting for such an occasion. We were then entertained by ex Match of The Day host and Radio 5 live celeb Colin Murray who compered the evening brilliantly, bringing a fantastic fizz to an already highly charged atmosphere. With five awards gone it was then time for the Accessory of the Year category, where we were pipped by Kramer Electronics for their CLS-AOCH/D-XL 4k HDMI cable. However, B-Tech were thrilled to be singled out for a Highly Commended accolade for our System X range, which is fantastic recognition in front of the 1,200+ industry guests. As well as fantastic entertainment and a fabulous three-course meal, 27 awards were given out throughout the evening and we wish to send huge congratulations to all. The evening concluded with live music, dancing and a great way for the AV industry to let its hair down.
We would like to thank Metropolis Media and AV Magazine for hosting such an incredible evening, with a special mention to Midwich who won distributor of the year and fellow UK distributor Sahara who won interactive product of the year with their Clevertouch V series.
