B-Tech’s show team were back in force in Dubai for InfoComm MEA and the region’s Digital Signage Summit.
This was the third successive InfoComm attendance for B-Tech, with the show being staged as a standalone event for the first time rather than being part of the Gitex Expo of previous years.
This year was also the first time InfoComm had been staged in the Za’abeel halls, which is a new satellite building slightly separate to the main Dubai World Trade Centre complex. The InfoComm organisers did a great job stationing people at the main halls with signs pointing to the new InfoComm hall and laying out a red carpet from one building to the other ensured visitors could easily find their way to the new location. It was pleasing to see that most fellow exhibitors had invested heavily in the event with the quality of stands being high throughout. B-Tech were particularly delighted to receive a high amount of praise for our own stand. As a sponsor of the Digital Signage event, B-Tech also had a small booth stationed near to the seminar area and used this as a tool to direct visitors to our main InfoComm stand.
The quality of stand visitors throughout the show was particularly surprising. Without the pull of Gitex, numbers were undoubtedly down slightly on previous years, but it was clear that every visitor to B-Tech’s stand had great potential, resulting in leads of a very high quality. So good, in fact, that we received orders from some stand visitors before the show had finished! Showcasing a wide selection from our mounting portfolio, the bulk of B-Tech’s stand interest focused around our video wall mounts, with System X’s versatility again proving popular.
With many visitors seeing System X for the first time, our stand offering included trolleys, freestanding and kiosk solutions. We also demonstrated why our System X engineering is proving so popular for menu boards and video walls around the world, including how our System 2 poles work seamlessly with System X to provide countless options for ceiling mounts and custom installations.
As B-Tech further cements its reputation in the region, Jon Alway, MEA Sales Manager, said: “B-Tech have established a truly local presence in the Middle East over the past 2 years. Our sales and brand awareness have been gaining strength at a rapid pace and this year, yet again, the show has greatly exceeded our expectations.” He added: “We’d like to send thanks to InfoComm for hosting a great show and to the numerous visitors to our stand. With many new contacts to follow up, as well as visits from most of our key customers across the Middle East and beyond, we’re looking forward to further growth in the region.”
