After a one-year hiatus from the usual event, it was amazing to be back exhibiting at ISE last week at its new home at the Fira de Barcelona in Spain. Besides a temporary shift in date to May, the show returned to its normal format and pleasingly attracted a better than expected number of visitors during the 4-day event.
Exhibiting for the 16th time, this was an extra special event for B-Tech. Not only because of our stylish, brand new booth, or because Barcelona is one of our “home” territories (with our B-Tech Iberia office just 15-minutes away from the Fira), but because this year’s show coincided with B-Tech’s 50th anniversary, giving us the perfect opportunity to celebrate this milestone with so many customers and industry friends. We’d like to extend our warmest thanks to everyone who came to visit us and hope you enjoyed the drinks and tapas!
Official attendee numbers released by ISE stand at 43,691, well short of the 81,000 peak reached in 2019 before Covid transformed the exhibition landscape. Despite this, the show floor felt busy and from our personal experience, the reduced footfall did not affect the number of visitors to the B-Tech booth, with our scan count pleasingly reaching similar numbers to the 2019 show.
Those who visited the booth were able to see a wide range of mounting solutions for different AV products, including popular solutions launched in the past 12-months or so and various new and prototype products that we were excited to demo. Some of these are highlighted below, but please view our full gallery of photos and videos at the bottom of this page for a more extensive view of the booth.
Our largest and most impressive ISE booth to date included a huge array of solutions for a wide variety of equipment
Stand alone slide-out trays join the all-in-one BT7883 and BT7885 media storage solutions that were launched last year
An exciting new range of stylish XL wall arms were unveiled for the first time and will be launching later this year
Floor stands ideal for shop window and other installations with limited space, including for the Samsung 55 OMN-D
Of course, it wouldn’t be a B-Tech booth without featuring our world-renowned System X range. First launched at the show in 2016 and picking up a commendation at the AV Awards later that year, it’s success is evident by the number of copies that could be seen throughout the show floor. Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, but System X goes far beyond what these imitations are capable of and we were pleased to demonstrate new additions to the range which make it perfect for complex installations such as dvLED videowalls and multi-screen broadcast utilising different sized displays and dvLED videowalls.
System X is perfect for easy installations of dvLED videowalls using INFiLED's WP panel - shown here mounted into a corner
System X is perfect for easy installations of dvLED videowalls using Samsung's IER panel - shown here with an angled join
System XdvLED mounts can used on the wall, ceiling or as a floor stand - this bolt down version features an adjustable base to accomodate uneven surfaces
Convex and concave curved dvLED videowall installs are also possible, demonstrated here using Unilumin's Upanel II
Since 2016 this range of mounting interfaces for System X has allowed almost any type of display to be mounted
The industry leading System X range is ideal for broadcast and control rooms with the ability to tilt forward an entire rows of screens
