“Rounding off yet another incredibly busy year, the B-Tech Iberia team participated at the 6th BITAM Show in Madrid, an event we've supported since its inception. Widening the remit this year, show organisers TM Broadcast welcomed exhibitors and visitors not only from broadcast sectors, but also industry professionals spanning all integration verticals and AV services, with an emphasis on the ever-growing digital signage market. The three-day show presented B-Tech with the opportunity to showcase its latest products with a focus on the System X range of multi-screen mounting solutions for ceiling, floor and wall applications. Also highlighted was our range of 'installer preferred' pop-out mounts; the BT8310, BT8312 and the recent additions of BT8308 and BT8309 to cover the increasing demand for smaller screen installations. Around the stand were a variety of our most popular screen and projector mounts, giving stand visitors a flavour of B-Tech’s extensive and versatile range. The show was also the ideal platform to launch the new B-Tech 2019 Spanish mini catalogue which features a snapshot of the complete B-Tech range and is the perfect accompaniment to our general catalogue. It was also an opportunity to unveil a new addition to the B-Tech Iberia team, Enrique Rebollar Fernández and this was the perfect chance for him to get aquatinted with the B-Tech family and to catch up with old industry colleagues and existing B-Tech partners. Paul Haggarty, General Manager of B-Tech Iberia, commented: “There is no ignoring the current buoyant feel to the Spanish economy in general. Specifically to the AV industry, Spain and Portugal have seen a real upturn in growth and both countries have really committed to investing in their digital signage futures. The expo for the audiovisual, installation and broadcast sector in Spain and southern Europe; BITAM, takes place at the Pabellón de Cristal of the Casa de Campo in Madrid. Bringing together AV professionals and manufacturers from all over the world, the BITAM show boasts a large exhibition area and also offers interesting technical conferences on audiovisual and broadcast technology. For B-Tech, it’s a great opportunity to showcase our latest mounting developments to integrators and AV providers in the region. Despite some economic uncertainty throughout Europe, Spain’s AV market continues to show encouraging growth. A recent survey from Installation Magazine revealed a steadily growing number of new integrators, with those already established reporting y-o-y growth of around 5%. The B-Tech stand will feature solutions that benefit the broadcast sector as well as the AV industry as a whole. B-Tech to bring latest System X additions to Midwich Tech Exposed show
“B-Tech to bring latest System X additions to Midwich Tech Exposed show Leading audio video mount manufacturer B-Tech will be bringing the latest System X solutions to Midwich’s Tech Exposed show – unveiling new additions to their System X range for QSR menu boards, video walls, broadcast and control room applications. Along with examples from across the System X portfolio, visitors to the two-day show will be able to see the new updated BT8310, which can now support displays up 75kg (previously 50kg) mounted onto System 2 poles in a floor-to-ceiling install. New pop-out solutions available for the System X range
“We are pleased to announce we have added new pop-out solutions to our popular System X range. Being showcased at the upcoming Midwich Technology Exposed event on September 21st-22nd, the BT8341 Universal Pop-in, Pop-Out Video Wall Mounting System combines the highly successful System X video wall mounting solution with B-Tech’s tried and tested pop-out system - capable of supporting displays of 39” and larger, with individual screen weight of up to 50kg. The mounting system features interface arms which are universally compatible with all video wall screens and their modular design allows an almost endless number of video wall configurations to be assembled, in both landscape and portrait orientations. Screen alignment is made simple using the included 8-point micro-adjustment feature and for added security, a pop-out prevention mechanism is included and can be enabled as desired to avoid accidental or unauthorised release of the screens. The interface arms from the system can also be ordered as a component part, in pairs (BT8390-VESA400MAP), for use in custom configurations or with other System X installations, such as menu boards. These arms add pop-out functionality to video walls and other multi-screen applications, making installation and service access as quick and simple as possible. System X on tour sees Norwegian training day and showroom opening
“System X on Tour sees Norwegian training day and showroom opening B-Tech staff from the UK, including managing director Matt Bennett, global business development manager Mark Walker and export area sales manager Paul Haggarty, continued the ‘System X on Tour’ programme with a training day at Norwegian distributor Interconnect. The day coincided with the official launch of a new B-Tech International showroom at Interconnect’s headquarters on the North West outskirts of Oslo. The day’s training saw one of Norway’s leading technology distributors getting hands on with the full range of System X products, allowing their specialists to see for themselves the benefits of B-Tech’s versatile new display mounting system. Mark Walker said: “The feedback we’ve received from Norway has been excellent. There is an excitement about System X that seems to be contagious. It was great to bring the range to our Norwegian partners and the new displays look impressive in our new dedicated B-Tech showroom. “B-Tech Audio Video Mounts would like to thank all attendees who visited us at BITAM 2014. Located in Madrid, the show gathered together regional, national and international industry professionals from the Broadcast/IT/Audio/Media sectors. There was extended floor place this year to cope with the increase in exhibitors and footfall was up 40%. As the only dedicated AV mounting solutions provider at the show, B-Tech enjoyed a constant flow of traffic to the stand and it was the ideal opportunity to interact and exchange ideas with installers, production engineers, IT and media specialists, all eager to find the most practical and flexible AV mounting solutions currently available on the market. Our purpose built booth contained a selection of our most popular mounts and floor stands with an emphasis on Videowall solutions. Visitors were drawn to the ever popular BT8310 and the new BT8311 Video wall mounts. There was also a lot of interest followed up by firm enquiries for our modular Free Standing solution BT8350 (installed with LG47WV30BR screens in a horizontal 2 x 2 configuration). Our thanks go out to LG Spain for their collaboration and screen supply.
